The founding partners have been living in Southeast Asia since the 1997-1998 Asian financial crisis, witnessing the remarkable inefficiencies across ASEAN equity markets and analyzing opportunities for deep value investing. Such on-the-ground presence allowed the development of an impressive network of local relationships, which constitutes one of the pillars of Aseanadvisors’ competitive advantages. In addition, they have brought to Aseanadvisors a wealth of experience, including equity research, portfolio investment and corporate finance capability.
